COMPACTING FACTOR APPARATUS (ELB-035)
▪ Consists of two conical hoppers attached on a cylinder, and everything is
fixed on a robust steel frame.
▪ Each hopper is equippedwith a hinge for a Quick Release mechanism.
▪ The apparatus is designed to perform the test in a more precise and
accurateway.
▪ The compactingfactor is the ratio between the weight of the concrete
which is partially compacted in the cone to the weight of the fullycompactedconcrete in the cylinder.
▪ Suppliedwith a tamping rod.
